Turn a cardboard box into beautiful storage.
Do you also throw that giant and hard cardboard box, left from your electronic and metallic stuff??? Is there cardboard boxes lying around… Maybe it’s after the holidays, or maybe you have a corner in your garage where the box heap grows with each Amazon delivery and Costco trip. The question is, can you do something with these, other than flatten them down for the recycle bin? Well, we have the answer for that… Turn them into cool, up-cycled storage! Have you even taken a peek at those expensive boutique style storage crates? If they aren’t plastic my friends, they are cardboard. And these projects are much cheaper than those boring, or even downright ugly plastic bins.
Follow these amazing 7 steps to make DIY cardboard organiser.
Step 1
Take an old rectangular cardboard box. Cut the upper section of the cardboard.
Step 2
Now take unused thick rope to cover the cardboard. With the help of hot glue stick rope on the cardboard.
Cover ¾ part of the cardboard with rope.
Step 3
Now take an old unused pillow cover and cut it according to the size of your cardboard. Stick the corners well.
Step 4
Glue the pillow cover in the cardboard as shown in the figure.
Step 5
With help of hot glue stick the pillow cover on the rope outside the cardboard. Adjust the extra part by folding and sticking it.
Use this cardboard storage box to keep umbrellas, towels, unclean cloths, scarf etc.
To make this cardboard organiser fancier you can cut and add glitter sheets and paper. You can also try adding belt to these cardboard boxes; this will make them look classy and fancier.
You can simply colour then cardboard and put stickers on it and use it for keep old magazines and newspaper.
